Every car person knows the feeling. You spend months on your car. The late nights, the parts that came in wrong, the first start after a swap. You take the photos, you post them, and then you cross your fingers and hope the algorithm shows it to people who love cars as much as you do.
Sometimes it does. Sometimes it ends up between a meme, an ad for a mattress and your cousin's vacation in Cancún.
That's the problem Revv Social was built to solve.
The problem with posting cars everywhere else
Instagram and Facebook are great apps, and there are tons of car people on them. But they're built for everything and everyone. Your post competes with every other kind of content out there, and whether it reaches the people who'd really appreciate your car comes down to luck more than anything.
Meanwhile, the real car scene was scattered all over the place. Meets got announced in one group chat, reposted in another, and half the people who would have loved to come found out the next day. Crews lived in DMs and messaging threads that died the second someone stopped replying. Build details lived in someone's camera roll, or in their head, ready to be retold for the hundredth time at the next meet.
The passion was there. The people were there. They just didn't have a home.
What we set out to build
Raphael and I didn't want to build another directory or a listing app with a social tab glued on top. We wanted the opposite: a real social app, built around a feed, made only for car people.
When we explain it at events, we keep it simple: think Facebook and Instagram, but for car people. That line usually does the job in about three seconds.
From there, everything we built follows what we kept hearing from enthusiasts at meets.
The feed comes first
The feed is the heart of Revv Social, and it's what sets us apart. There are three of them.
Your Vibes learns what you're into. Every post is tagged, JDM, Euro, trucks, stance, whatever your thing is, and the more you use the app, the more your feed looks like your taste instead of everyone else's.
Near You shows what's happening around you right now. The cars you see around town, the people behind them, the scene you didn't know your city had.
Following keeps you close to the people and crews you ride with.
Post your car here and you don't have to hope it reaches car people. Everyone here is one. That's the whole idea.
Then the real-life stuff
Talking about cars online is fine. Standing next to one at a meet, hearing it idle, that's different. So meets are built right into Revv Social. You can see what's happening near you on the map, RSVP, see who's going, and create your own meet in a few taps.
Crews come next, because belonging is the reason most of us stick around in this scene. Every crew gets its own profile, its own member list, all its members' builds in one place and a private crew chat, so planning a cruise doesn't mean juggling five group chats.
And then there's your build. Every mod, every spec, every late night in the garage, all in one place, with a QR code you can print and put on your car so anyone at a meet can see the full story on their phone.
Where we are today
Revv Social launched on the App Store and Google Play in June 2026. Since then, the community has left over 180 reviews across both stores, with a 4.9 rating on each. For a team of two, from Quebec, that means a lot. Every one of those reviews came from a real car person who took the time to tell us we built something worth using.
We've been at meets and events every chance we get, talking to groups after groups at our booth, selling merch, and handing out windshield banners made by our own hands. A lot of what's in the app today came straight from those conversations. People told us what they wanted, and we went back and built it.
We're also not done. Not even close. Every update since launch has made the app faster, more stable and more fun to use, and we ship based on what the community tells us.
Where we're going
Quebec and Canada are home, and that's where it all started. But car culture doesn't stop at a border, and neither do we. The goal is simple: build the place where car people everywhere connect, show up and belong.
We're not a car cult. We just really like cars, and the people who like them too.
Join the scene
If you're a car person, whether you're running a full build, a stock daily or your very first project, there's a spot for you on Revv Social. Download it free on the App Store or Google Play, post your car, find a meet near you and say hi.
We'll see you at the next one.
